FINCA Azerbaijan Was Awarded By AMFA

FINCA Azerbaijan Credit Organization was awarded an “Organization Which Have An Exemplary Managing System for Client Complaints” Reward, which compiling by Azerbaijan Micro-Finance Association (AMFA), in January 27, 2011.

The organization uses a few tools for collecting clients’ complaints. One of them is hotline. Hotline, with the phone number (+994 55) 455 25 25, serves clients from 9:00 to 18:00 in the work days, and the e-mail, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , always is in clients’ employ.

Another tool for collecting complaints is “Complaints and Proposal Box”, which placed in every branch, where clients can see easily. Clients and also employees can write their complaints or proposals and put them into these boxes.

“Complaints and Proposals Book”, which put in every branch, is another tool. These books are put in the places, where clients can see easily, as “Complaints and Proposals Boxes”. Complaints and proposals, written in these books, constantly are sent to the Head Office for considering.

Besides tools, mentioned above, clients can send their complaints as a letter or they can come to the offices and lay a complaint directly.

Clients are informed about whole complaint procedure while contracting with them and special form, which contains information about complaints system of the organization, is added to the contracts.

FINCA is one of the credit organizations joined to the Smart Campaign. The organization always tries to manage best the principle about considering complaints as other principles of the campaign.

New Branches of FINCA Azerbaijan

FINCA Azerbaijan began to 2012 with opening 2 new branches. Goranboy, which operated before as a market office within Ganja branch and Tovuz, which operated before as a market office within Shamkir branch, have been operating as a branch since beginning of this year. At the same time, Dalimammadli market office will serve clients within Goranboy branch, and Govlar market office will do the same thing within Tovuz branch.

Goranboy and Tovuz branches had begun to their operations as a branch with 3764 and 5082 clients. The loan portfolio of Goranboy branch is more than 2.7 million USD, and the portfolio of Tovuz branch is more than 4.2 million USD. Recently there are 12 employees in Goranboy branch and 16 employees in Tovuz branch.

FINCA Azerbaijan serves clients with its 29 branches and 34 market offices in more than 60 locations. Due to statistic of 2011, the number of clients, who FINCA Azerbaijan serves, is 119,867. 32,853 clients of them use individual loan products, and 84,017 clients use group loan products. Total loan portfolio is more than 117 million USD (December, 2011): more than 48 million USD is belong to individual loan portfolio, and more than 68 million USD is belong to group loan portfolio.

The number of disbursed loans in December, 2011 is 14,629 (individual: 3835, group 10,794), and the total amount of these loans is 23,079,165 USD (individual: 8,502,861 USD, group: 14,576,303).

FINCA Azerbaijan Expands Cash Services

FINCA Azerbaijan continues to open cash desks in the branches for fast and high quality customer service. In the last 6 months new cash desks had been opened in Shabran, Sumgayit, Jalilabad, Gazakh, Zagatala and Barda. Cash desks were made according to the requirements of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the standards of "FINCA International" and they are equipped with modern equipments for counting and checking money and also with alarm and camera.

In each office, which begins to operate cash services, new cashiers, due to the numbers of clients,  had been hired and trained.

Opening cash desks in the branches brings some comfort and advanteges to their works and to serving better to the clients. So clients become free from the services of collateral banks and they are served faster and better in FINCA offices. In addition, bank expenses are decreased to the minimum amount, lending operativeness are increased, it becomes possible giving the dispursement loan, which it is proceed during the same day, to the client.

Beylagan Sub Office Gave a Loan to The 3000th Client

Beylagan sub office of Agjabedi branch of FINCA Azerbaijan NBCO serves more than 3000 clients now. Namely Beylagan sub office had given a loan to the 3000^th client in December 29, 2011. Sub office’s loan portfolio is more than 2,7 milion USD. We want to inform that Beylagan sub office has been operating since February, 2003. Recently 6 loan officers work in the office.

Congratulations to the all staff of Agjabedi branch, especially to the loan officers of Beylagan sub office for this success.

Recall that "FINCA Azerbaijan" has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1998 and it is the largest MFI with its 27 branches and 35 offices, more than 120,000 clients and more than 117 million USD loan portfolio.

Opening New Office Building of Sumgayit Branch was Held

Opening new office building of Sumgayit branch was held in October 21, 2011. Some guests and some clients who are permanent customer of FINCA Azerbaijan took part with FINCA staff in this ceremony.

Design of the new office has been fitted to the standards of FINCA International. It was offered all necessary facilities for serving better to the clients and for the comfort of employees here. Largeness of the new office arrests especially attentions.

We want to inform that Sumgayit branch has been operating since 2002. The number of active clients of the branch is more than 5100 and the loan portfolio is more than USD 6,000,000.

FINCA Eurasia Regional Meeting are being held in Baku

FINCA International has offices in 9 Eurasia countries. The quarterly meeting of these countries are held in Baku from october 6^th to october 15^th. Management boards of these countries and some of officials of FINCA Internatial participate in this meeting.

We also want to inform that FINCA Azerbaijan has launched its operations in Azerbaijan since 1998 and at present it has more than 115,000 clients. For this index, FINCA Azerbaijan is the leader of Azerbaijan Microfinance Market. FINCA Azerbaijan’s present loan portfolio is more than USD 102 milion.

Educational Project of FINCA Azerbaijan

FINCA Azerbaijan added new project to its social activities for supporting children. This project was about beginning new education year. For this purpose, FINCA Azerbaijan had given school uniforms and sets to the children without kith and kin. These children, which are registrated in the “Gunerzi Kuche Ushaqlari” children house, were provided with things mentioned above.

At the same time FINCA Azerbaijan is going to sponsor to the educational contest which organized in the whole of country.

FINCA Azerbaijan Supported Children in Ramadan Holiday

FINCA Azerbaijan was with children in Ramadan Holiday as always. For the purpose, some branches of FINCA Azerbaijan had visited children houses. In these visites FINCA staff  had laid the table for the children, had given different gifts to them and had spend nice time with them.

FINCA Azerbaijan always participate actively in realizing different social projects and supporting other organizations which have the same mission.

First Grant from FINCA Azerbaijan

1,420,000$ which FINCA Azerbaijan granted to NBCO “Eurasia-Credit” Ltd. was registrated in July 21 2011 by The Republic of Azerbaijan Ministry of Economic Development. We want to inform that this request was submited to The Republic of Azerbaijan Ministry of Economic Development in June 17 2011. It is the first big grant of FINCA Azerbaijan during its operation periond.

Newruz Holiday for Children

In March 18 FINCA Azerbaijan and Mingechevir National Drama Theatre organized Newruz Holiday celebration for the children, who have been abandoned and have neurologic illness, in Yevlakh city. Various and amusing plays had increased children’s mood and helped them to spend entertaining and memorable day. In addition FINCA Azerbaijan gladdened each child by giving a gift to all of them.
